Hey Philip - I have done a screen recording for you - on a segment of two channel audio - Ch1 and Ch2 wherebye I ma trying to duck CH2 to zero db when CH1 is talking and back up when CH2 is talking - very achievable normally / previously. Hi Marianna / All I was having this issue on 2018.10 - Avid would crash immediately Trim Mode was engaged while Caps Lock was on. This morning I downloaded and installed 2018.11 and after a couple of hours work I can confirm that this is no longer the case - the update seems to have fixed this very annoying bug.
