I cancelled my perpetual license at 2022.10 and it remains working at the version. Andi

Hi all, in addition to a "sequence duration" field where you can specify the duration for new sequences to be made, a couple of other things I noticed were: It would be nice to have an "edit sequence template" option becuase currently in order to edit a template you first have to create another one, which means you then have to delete
-
Thanks Marianna, I actually wrote a post about additions to the sequence template and then deleted it because I thought I was being too picky but I'll add it to the feature request forum. Andi

No way to do it in one click. Easiest thing to do is create a sequence, add something to it like a black title and drag it out to the desired length, then save it in a generics bin for re-use. If you find your sequence is not long enough simply add an edit on an empty video track and then use the yellow trim tool to extend it. It's a shame that

Don't think so. If you are in single monitor mode (for example when using effects) you can get it quite big but I don't think you can get it full screen on your output. I would roll your own in Photoshop and add them on a top video layer, then store various different ones in a generics bin. You can find exact pixel numbers for all formats up

Hard to believe I'm still getting sent alerts about comments on this thread. This feature would be such a time saver and it's not even niche, literally all editors regardless of genre or workflow would get benefit from this. Please, god, just do this already and shut us all up! Andi

Hi, LUTs DO work in multicam, just not by default. There is a setting under "Video Display" called "Bypass Frameflex & LUT FX in performance-critical modes (multicam split, render-on-the-fly off, playout to DV device). Turn it off and then refresh your sequence and your LUTs are now applied in your timeline and your quad/nine split

Hi Marianna, I have tested it on 2018.12.15 and 2022.10. Same behaviour, once rendered, dual split no longer works. The little dual split handles still appear, but there's no change to the image. Thanks, Andi

If the colour correction is unrendered I can use the dual split to before and after something. Doesn't work when the shot is rendered. Would be more useful if it did. Not sure if that's a bug or just an oversight. Andi
