Hello avid experts, I am having an issue where my media creation settings will no longer allow me to select any new resolutions and must remain stuck on the last used setting for each things. For example if titles was last set to 115DNXHD than it will only allow that and all other choices are grey. But on Render, if it was last set to 175X that one

The C500 camera has no internal ability to record 2K or 4K, but rather requires an add on external recorder--- for this documentary the importance in production was speed and portability to capture the live action and the bulk of the external recorder was a concern, as was the extra storage issues of the 2K-and 4K options

Thanks for the tip--- I did uninstall avid FX --- and yes it did eliminate the issue.... why is that? I am pretty new to the avid FX program, seems to be a bummer not to be able to run it, but that crashing was a daily annoyance---hoping avid works out this bug.

Yes I do have AVID FX installed- do you suspect a conflict there ? I am new to the "AVID FX" program, I generally go out of the avid world into AFTER EFFECTS for my titling work.
