The solutions you wrote on in this thread, do they both apply to standalone systems or the first to Interpplay and the second to standalone? I have a standalone system running the same version of MC

Thank you for the suggestion. The .mp3 is 44.1 kHz and while transcoding, the sample rate was converted. The "new" file is 48 kHz. No waveforms in either. I noticed MC is using the Quicktime plug-in to play back the .mp3. I'll wait for Jeffrey lomicka's response.

As an offline editor, I need to shift marker position in Source timelines more often. I don't think I can Alt/Opt Drag in the Source monitor.

One transcoded audio file (transcoded from .mp3) is giving me the following "Exception" (in the Console) when I try to show the waveform on either track of dual mono. You were exactly right, Brian. I checked C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins and solved the problem. Turns out the Breath Control in RX 7, 8 and 9 is a module which is installed separately from the rest of the RX plug-ins. The uninstaller is provided in the iZotope folder under Programs along with Portal (and presets, I think, too). I

When I uninstalled iZotope 7 and installed iZotope 8, I found the Clip FX Breath Control 7 was still there along with Breath Control 8. Now that I replaced 8 with 9, Breath Control 9 has been added to the list. All the other Clip FX are replaced by the most recent version except that one. iZotope Support suggested I rescan plug-ins, but I think only
