I am having the same problem. Everytime I try to use NBT program 2 it crashes my AVID. I am on a perpetual license with the Symphony Option. I am on Mac Pro -12 Core - 2.66 GHZ - 32 Gigs of Ram - 2010 Westmere. On Mac AVID MC 8.51- MAC OS X 10.9.5 Now trying to use New Blue Title Pro 2. The boot Drive for my AVID MC 8.5.1 is on a new Samsung Pro 850

AJA has a Beta Driver with plugin - for AVID 8.5- that lots of folks are using. I loaded it yesterday and it works fine. I am on a MAC 10.9.5. The Beta Driver is available in both Mac and Win flavors. Contact AJA's excellent technical support.

I have a similar problem. I haven't been about to ge the Dynamic Media Folders working on my system. It says that the AVID Background Services are running but if I right click the AVIDSMFSupportSvc icon - it says the application is not running. When I try to open a Dynamic Media Folder -- I get an error message saying - AVID Editor Services are

However the Quadro 4000 is at least compatible with a Mac Symphony 6.5 so if I could get GPU accleration with it for another application on my system that Might make it worthwhile?

Having gotten the above same error -- I started going through all the drives, etc to check on illegal characters... and low and behold... I too had a Rhino Record - Danny Gatton Anthology --that stopped my Symphony from launching. Thanks for the help y'all! I appreciate your time and help! Best, VQ
