  • ISIS 5000 on Monterey 12.6.5

I'm looking to use my ISIS 5000 with a Intel MacPro running Monterey 12.6.5. I already run it fine on another machine with Mojave 10.14.6 and Nexis Client 20.7.6.32. This system works well and reads and writes with no issues. But the Monterey system (same Nexis Client) fails to writ e and causes a Network Degrade to happen on the System Director

Well that certainly sounds straight forward. I'm guessing i can just add to the Dell25S spare 10GB port using the Myricom Card and it will show up on the other System Director Ill give it a go whrn my XFP arrives and see how it goes thank you

Thanks Dom, this worked perfectly I used PUTTY to enter the contents of the Dell Force10 default config from the ISIS installer package and just ignored the bits that werent relevant (i.e. ports 25-26 and Stack ID 1) and i can now use any port on the front of the Dell S25 with a 10gb connection to the ISIS Myricom card I now have 2 working 5500 chassis

here's the result of the ping Pinging 192.168.255.17 with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 192.168.255.102: Destination host unreachable. Request timed out. Request timed out. Do i have to assign ip addresses to ports on the switch or should they just accept any conection. Ports 1-24 on the front are open (#no shut)

I am now trying to connect using 10GB Myricom Card (10GB SFP) to Dell Force 10 S25 (10GB XFP) but no activity showing on Dell XPF indicator light. I have chosen single chassis to router and 10GB in storage manager and it assigns 192.168.255.17 Then i connect a client 1GB to Dell port 1 with address 192.168.255.25 and nothing. I'm aslo aware there
