Running Media Composer 2023.12 on Win 10 i9-14900K RTX 4070

I've run into an issue where I'm unable to import, mixdown, export; pretty much do anything on Avid when mounted with the media spaces I created from Editshare. The frequent errors I've run into when trying to mixdown is DISK_ACCESS_FAILED. Importing however is this message, " the path conversion from UTF16 to MBCS Failed." This

This is a great question...from what I see, it seems to vary. We are working on an older version but it isn't available for download anymore I believe. Would be good to hear from some users.

Not a fan of Windows but waiting for Avid to stabilise their releases on Mac seems very uncertain. Already looking at Windows.

Thanks. Our thoughts are the same. Not too happy that Avid has also removed all the old builds of MC and are forcing people to upgrade. Not looking very promising when more urgent issues need to be tackled.
