Hello Avid folks. Quick and simple question - Is there a way to search for a clip within the timeline in AViD media composer? Find tool upon selecting Timeline and monitors tab does not seem to work, any knows why? or is there an alternative method. WOuld be super helpful. Please advise. :) THANKSS!!

Hello All. I would really appreciate help on this. I need to delivery bins with their associated mxf(s) to an editor. Could anyone please let me know the way to find the mxf(s) related to all the files within a bin? Additional info- My bin has 150+ clips. Reveal file option only works for a single file. What are my options? Please let me know.

Hello Fam. I am on my first AE gig on a feature and the producer is asking me to do an export for all the archivals in the cut for clearance purposes. They want me to have 10 extra handles on the export. Could anyone please guide me through what is expected and how should I do it? As I understand I will have to export an aaf, correct? Thanks!

Hello. Can somebody please let me know how to disable a clip in the timeline. I read in some forums, thsi is not possible in Media Composer but I am working on a timeline where the previous editor has diabled some clips. (Picture attached) Would help a lot. Thanks!

Yes. I will be collaborating with the team remotely. the project is set up on PC. I ahev a MAC. My question is if it is remote work do I need a PC on my ennd as well or a MAC would suffice.

Hello AVID family. I was recently hired for a gig which is on PC. We have to edit remotely via nexus for the initial few months. I own a MAC studio but the gig is on PC. My first obvious question is, can I continue to collaborate with the AVID PC setup through my mac studio or do I need to buy a PC? If yes, which laptop would you recommend? Second question

Suddenly all the quality of my footage went down and when I exported the timeline the quality was awful as well. In the media creation settings I had my settings as 'H.264 800Kpbs Proxy'.
