• Re: Odd Group Clip behavior 2022.4

As mentioned, I had never seen this before, and filed a bug report. But I got this response back from tceh support, which was really confusing? Would peope really have requested this as a FEATURE? Seems unlikely, surely? And even if it was a request, is this the first time it's been implemented, six years later?! Transcoding is clearly not an option
Did they say they logged it? I don't work for Avid so I can't view your support case, but I can follow it up with people who do work there to make sure it is logged.
So far, all I've got is the usual "When did it last work? Have you created a new user profile" response, whch always
Did they log these as bugs? If they don't: send me the support case number.
I hope they did - case # 04424598. I sent two videos showing multiple problems, including while I was trying to demonstrate one of them, a complete crash to desktop. Nice timing!

I'm seeing precisely the same issue since moving to 2022.4. A project I've been working on for over a year, through various versions of 2020.x and 2021.x suddenly started displaying this issue upon moving to 2022.4. I've filed a support case.

I was thrilled to discover many, many new problems with Titler+ in 2022.4. All of my existing Titler+ titles, which I'd struggled so hard to make over the past year in various versions of MC 2021.x displayed fascinating new abilities. -When you select a title and click to enter the Titler+ tool, the title disappears! Just...disappears! -Some of

  • Re: Which is the best .22 / .21 MC Version for MAC?

I spent a few months with 2021.12, but have reverted to 2021.9 which I find a little better - it's no more stable, but it doesn't suffer from the horrendous performance/beachballing problems I experienced in 2021.12. After much back and forth with tech support, they agreed that 2021.9 is a better option.

  • Re: OS 12.2.1 and MC 2021.12, anyone?

Despite it not being officially supported, I have been running 2021.12 on OS 12.2.1 for about a month now with no worse performance or behaviour than I have seen on any previous OS. The issues I have seem much more to do with 2021.12 than any OS issues - I find 2021.9 to be much more stbale and perform better overall.

  • Crash immediately upon adjusting audio fader?

Is it just me, or do others experience a LOT of crahses simply by adjusting an audio fader? It seems almost guaranteed if I do it during playback, but it also happens quite often when stopped. I use a Wacom tablet and pen, but other than that my setup is totally vanilla with no external hardware, just audio via a USB mixer. I've experienced this
