I received a tip on another thread, which is to disable Settings/Project/Video Display/Dual Copy Engine. This worked, but the only thing is that I now get a bit of a glitchy display during "play loop"

That totally worked, thank you so much! The only thing now is when I play loop in trim mode, I get a background still of the outgoing image on the left side of my composer window. But, I'm willing to live with it now that I'm not crashing anymore.

I'm having the same problem. I've created new user settings, and a new project, but it persists. I'm working in MC 2022.7.0. Mac OS Monterey, 12.5. MBP 16 inch M1. The project was setup in MC 2020.12 I believe. When I select clips in segment mode, and try to move them, it brings me to the debugger window. I can still save and continue, but

Hi Folks, I've had a problem pop up - when I'm using my title tool and Media Composer autosaves in the background, it causes a segmentation fault. This is a new issue I've had since upgrading to 2018.10.0. Is anybody else having this problem, or suggestions to fix it from the Avid team? Cheers, Kelly Morris
