Correct. Unless you are using other apps (e.g. Resolve, After Effects, etc.) that are GPU dependent, you want to primarily boost the CPU core count with your Apple Silicon computer.

Only MC 2024.12 or newer will work with Sequoia.

If you run MC 2024.12 in native mode, all plugins must also be in native mode to be compatible. Try running it in Rosetta mode. If the plugin works, then the BM will need to release a native-mode version.

From where we stand (TV, docs and some features)... Sapphire is more popular. BCC is more flexible with the type of FX. There are a lot of overlap. I would go with BCC unless you are looking for a specific FX.
