...this error happens with any new project of any type using either 24.12 or 24.12.1... ...it is not happeneing with 24.10....

...just noticed an issue w 24.12.1....using the Dashboard is the only way to see a Font sample...but changing the font with the Dashboard does not change it at the text....using the Effect Editor works but there are no samples to choose then... ....so the only way to get the look shown in the Dashboard is to change the font there and then change again

....copying and pasting as expected in new titles created with 24.12.1....previous titles still had issues with the numbers changing once a paste took place but the actual image did not...that is cleared up in new titles under 24.12.1.... ....it takes some extensive work to see invisible keyframes so i dont know how to test for that.... ....incorrect

Here is where it stands .....the Main PC is fine running 24.12.1..... the laptop was fully rebuilt with a fresh Win 11 install and is fine running 24.10...but throws an error creating a new project when 24.12 or 24.12.1 is installed.....the resulting projects have no CC presets or BIN structure.... ....as far as the Intel iMac...forget it...its not

...good luck....as far as Resolve exporting with a real alpha channel...it HAS to be one of these two ProRes Files.... 4444 or 4444XQ...and the alpha channel has to be checked in the export setting...it is easy to create this as an export preset in Resolve... ...Shutter can flip these to QT Animation....one of those three output types with alpha will
