I'd just like to report an apparent bug in Media Composer 2023.12.2 whereby the select > offline clips feature seems to incorrectly tell you there's no offline clips in a sequence if the tracks are locked. Thanks!

Hey! Did anyone find a solution to this? I am working on 2022.12.6 and my Editor was using 2023.12 at home and he was experiencing this with bins I sent him. Alternatively, wondering whether anyone's logged this as a bug with Avid? There definitely weren't any long column names in the bins I was sending him.

Running Avid Media Composer 2022.12.6 on Ventura 13.6.1. When in Frame view, the status bar showing number of selected clips and duration displays incorrect information. This seems to only be when a sequence is in the bin. Correct information in the status bar seems to be displayed in the Text View mode. Let me know if you need any more info! I wonder

Hey Philip, When I saw that the issue was persisting in the new update, that was one of the first things I tried, making new user settings; the background are still dark in the Edit Master Caption List even with new User Settings

This bug is only part fixed for me it seems... the two leftmost boxes' backgrounds have been lightened, but arguably the most important one is still dark! · Bug Number: MCDEV-16346. Edit Master Caption List was difficult to read when using a dark interface.

I, too just started getting this error. Using 16" MacBook Pro with Monterey 12.6.1 Avid MC 2022.10 Sequence was playing fine and then suddenly it stopped playing certain clips (they're also not creating waveforms) and getting this error message before crashing.

Hi all, I've loaded a sequence into the source monitor and have been adding markers/timeline clip notes. I was hoping to be able to search through them in the source monitor if need be. If I use quick find and hit enter, the playhead goes to the relevant clip. If I click the buttons to the right of the quick find search box - find next to the right
