Just installed MC 3.2 on windows 7 64bit. Seemed to be working fine. Aero got turned off and Boris didn't install correctly.

I just installed MC 3.2 on windows 7 64 bit. Seems to run fine. Haven't had enough time to get into it and test it completely. Boris doesn't install right and seems to mess things up though. BTW, I did get an error about turning on Open GL in my graphics card. Do you do that in MC or from the Nvidia control panel? Never had this before.

I've done numerous RAID setups and found e-sata to be not quite up to task. E-SATA uses port multipliers to create a RAID and have found them to be rather stable but kind of slow - 150 MB/s with 5 drives in RAID 0(PM's are limited to 5 drives). I have both an E-sata setup and an SAS RAID setup. The SAS is very very fast. I'm getting sustained

I have a quadro FX 4500 and it works noticeably better in After Effects and 3D programs than previous Quadro cards and especially the Geforce models. E-bay has 'em for about $600. Don't know if the architecture of these high end cards are really utilized in 2D programs. Maybe if some anti-aliased effect were used it might render faster. Perhaps

Your right. Seems the stock hasn't gone down that badly. Probably because avid did a stock buy back some time ago, so not that many around to dump it.

An e-mail would have been nice much like the promo for the Avid MC upgrade they sent me. I don't frequent the forums as kids, work, a life, vacations, etc takes up enough time.
