Hi there - tried every whcih way so far but template I think is only real solution. Generic sees deck Ok but no batching So will keep on plugging away till we get one thanks

A plea to Avid, any news on a template for the Sony HVR-M25 deck - it's extremely frustrating having a costly piece of kit which I can't use. Just won't batch digitise at all - also have been in touch with Sony and they insist the issue of the deck seeing a 60i signal when in 50i mode until deck or Z1 camera rebooted is an Avid issue thanks

Hi, yes monitor was set to component - get picture on video out with BNC but when switched to RGB/component I get flickering blue lines and monitor telling me no sync. With the 60i connundrum, it happens with the Z1 too. When in 50i mode connected to the Avid the picture plays as though it's NTSC. I have all the Avid settings on PAL including playout

Hello, will this workaround sort out the fact it will not batch digitize, too? While I'm at it I can't seem to get a component out signal. Can get signal using BNC from video out. Am hooked up to Sony Trinitron. Have got the deck set to HDMI/CMPNT Am operating in 50i mode (thought often need to reboot deck as when it sees the Avid the onscreen settings

Hi, I have the M25 but sadly Avid has been slow off the mark with this one. Having traded in the excellent DSR1500P for this disappointing piece of kit I'm having to use my Z1 camera for batch digitizing as the deck fails all the time. So please Avid hurry up and make this work thanks

Tried various suggestions including now turning off hyperthreading but M-audio delta 44 sound card still causes video to freeze P4 3.4Ghz, 2Gb ram, nVidia 980XGL running 5.5.2 So new question is what hardware/software can I use (with PCI motherboard) to get balanced audio to monitor audio with PPMs? thanks

No it won't batch record at all. Avid needs to add this one asap

Hello all, I know this has been posted in the past but still cannot find solution. Since switching from DSR1500 to Sony M25E i lost ability to output to PPMs. So now have M-audio delta 44 with break-out box sound card through Behringer mixer to PPMs but cannot for the life of me make it all work. I have left in the old sound card and have tried it disabled

Tried both methods - nothing found. Is it because original was 25 420 and Avid is trying to find 25 420 MXF files? Problem is I don't have tapes anymore and kept full res files on drives - any other thoughts? thanks
