    In the hope it helps someone: I master as MyMovie_DNxHD.mov. I now use ffmpeg (still on Windows 7) to convert/compress to mp4/x264. (Yes, I have Squeeze but i need testing ffmpeg - I am migrating all editing to linux) Windows: Avanti interface is minimalist. There must be better ones - up to you.     Thank you Ralph, I still can't activate it though. (online) "Fail Activation: Activation fFailed. Device ID in licence file does not much this machine's Device ID." Which is correct for this is a totally different hardware. Which I believe needs resetting that licence file. Could you please arrange this? Regards Akos

    Many thanks RalphC, I still don't know which version am I allowed to install though. Also, I guess, the activation will need to be reset somehow. Is there a way to contact support directly? If there is, I can't find it. Many thanks again, Akos

    Dear Support, My computer got fried. I've got a new one and now have two issues: - The license has expired earlier this year. Don't know the expiry date thus I don't know which version can I install. (It wasn't updated since 8.3) - I couldn't de-activate Media Composer IE: won't be able to activate the new install.   • Versioner Lookup Utility - System ID not found

    I tried using the Versioner Lookup Utility on http://esd.avid.com/VersionerLookup.aspx It asks for "Enter System ID:" Typed in the System ID then clicked 'Submit'. Received the error message: Not found Please check the Serial Number. To try again, re-enter the Serial Number. Otherwise, please follow the instructions here www.avid.com
