Hi Kenneth, Thanks for the reponse. I'm forgetting now if the interactive installer requires a reboot at completiion? I can test that... We can add a post-install reboot step to the Jamf policy, but obviously that's gonna be more disruptive than we like if not aboslutely necessary :-)

When we install MC 2024.12 using an MDM policy (Jamf in our case), we are seeing an iLok error message that prevents app launch until after a reboot. We are running an Uninstall of the previous MC verison (24.10) first. We don't see the iLok error when install is run interactively. These are M1 mac studios running macOS 14.7.2 Anybody else using

Thanks, Marianna. Gorky's other note is a long-standing issue we've discussed before... trim-mode looping with AJA is broken and has been for a very long time (going back to MC 2022). Is there a bug ID logged for that one? Any progress on it? It's very disruptive to the editorial folks.

Starting to experiment with the native apple silicon 2024.12 I'm finding that when I open legacy projects (created in 2024.10 or before), the phoneticIndexer never kicks in to transcribe the media automatically. Foreground works, and I *think* it's working right when I create a new project/bins, but it's not doing anything when I open a

Hi Trevor, We're running M1 studios with macOS 14.7.4, MC 2024.10 (in Rosetta) and AJA io4K v17.1.3 now. There are still some AJA hiccups, but not show-stoppers (for us). Otherwise, this stack has been working for us. Newest MC version (2024.12) just dropped this week -- it claims to run natively (no Rosetta) on M1 / ARM architecture, but people

Does anybody know if AJA is supported/working in Apple Silicon Native MC 2024.12?

Running MC 2024.10 on macOS Sonoma latest (14.7.4) with AJA io4K / 17.1.3 Changing playback direction while media is playing using J / L while AJA is engaged results in stuttering video playback. If we pause first (instead of just playing and then hitting the reverse direction button while playing) we don't see the issue. If AJA is disabled, we

Closing the loop on this -- seems that the problem of no background trasncriptions in 2024.10 was OS-bound. Monterey macOS 12 it's not working, but it is in Sonoma, Sequoia, etc. I'll guess this is among the factors that went into the unusual step of disqualifying Monterey for 2024.12

Hi team, PhraseFind AI and Transcripts are only working for one user on a particular macOS workstation. When any other user logs in & runs MC, the transcript database reports it is offline and phrasefind ai searches return an error. I can see files owned by the functioning user in /Users/Shared/AvidMediaComposer/Search/data/ with 644 permissions

Running MC 2024.10 Ultimate I'm getting a report from a user of same error "Failed to get segments count from database" -- is there a workaround / explanation for this in the offing?
