I'm not sure about that an interlaced format has 50 updates per second. In progressive you would need to be 50p to achieve the same look. You can't make 50i look the same in 25P Is the issue that previously the 2 fields were deinterlacedinyo to dnx36 P frame and with DNxLBit just duplicates field 1?

I'd try creating a new Project with a similar name. Then copy your main sequence from the old project to the new one. Create a fresh user profile in the new project and then test. I'm not sure a remote session will help much as when your Mac beach balls the remote session will likely freeze.

I thought every Protools system needed it's own physical ilok connected via USB (some universities I work at use an internal USB port or loop a short USB extension to inside the case so irlt can be locked in.

Illegal characters in the file name or path. Or permissions issue.

Apple does not normally allow you to roll back a Mac OS beyond the version it shipped with. Avid generally support the current OS when they release a version. So it shouldn't be much of a wait.

It could be cross talk or a one-legged connection. Try a long CAT6 cable to a known good port. Or try swapping the crate into a bay that's working fine as a test.

Assuming nothing software wise was changed on the machine I'd suspect a physical cabling issue. I'd guess you have a duff CAT5 connection or cable somewhere.

But have never done that in SE, I must admit. [/quote] The merge / replace audio is under the without conversion section. So you can replace the audio but not

Is that HDCAM or HDCAM SR? HDCAM is sub sampled to 3:1:1 so suitable for playback from but not as a master. I don't think shutter encoder can use 2 different sources. H265 is very processor intensive (around 3 times that of H264) so I suspect your crate will be the limiting factor.

Creating Proxy media during ingest is a staple of Post workflows. Because you end with stable Avid media thats manageable by the system. Go with camera sources as linked media and you will spend an ever increasing amount of time relinking those sources. As for the relinking at conform again this is a standard workflow carried out by just about every
