THis has been raised before. Creating 2 mono tracks from a stereo track is a relatively simple task as you just duplicate the attributes from the stereo to the 2 mono tracks. If the 2 mono tracks were identical then in theory making them into a stereo track isn't that difficult but if there is any difference between the tracks that becomes impossible

Don't use the dynamic folders. Link he files into a bin and then use the background transcode function. The dynamic folders were a great idea but after being introduced (and having a range of issues) they have never been re-visited and those issues still exist. They can and do work for some specific workflows but for many they fail.

Relinking in Avid is possible but can be a dance unless you know the correct steps. Making Proxies in Avid should present no issues with the current proxies. From the info on both clips it looks ok. Do you know if the grade will be done in Resolve? If so then its best to cut a short sequence in Avid with the original proxies and some newly created ones

I think you need the right OS and without later updates as an MS update later caused issues with the DX-Drivers.

If the camera can make Avid media compatible proxies then thats simple you just drop them in the avid media files mxf folder. If not you can still AMA link in Proxy media and edit with it but its not being managed as Avid managed media so less robust.

A tip when transcoding or consolidating in a bin. You will have all the clips selected when you choose transcode/consolidate after that those clips will still be selected and all the new clips not selected. In the fast menu if you select reverse selection all the new clips will be selected and all the original ones not. You can then just drag to a new
