Frankly, I would never work in a sequence of AMA linked clips. My first order of business would be to Consolidate/Transcode the sequence before quiting that project. Is this not practical for your needs? To be honest, the first thing I do after AMA linking is Consolidate the clips so I never have to drag an AMA clip to a sequence. Just my way of working

I just purchased the same RAID enclosure, and have them loaded with Hitachi ENTERPRISE level drives. ( adds about 500 to the cost of off the shelf drives) but adds a level of assurance that the 8 drive Raid will perform without issues going forward.

I've read the tutorials, but I must be missing something. I have been given 23.98p footage in h.264 format that I wish to edit in a 29.97p sequence. Using a 29.97 project setting, I have opened an AMA bin created in a 23.98 project, and have trancoded the footage. There is still a good deal of image judder in the resulting 29.97 converted files

Using AMA to load XAVC files into MC 7.02. I have experimented with the option to automatically apply a Slog Lut upon loading. The resulting look is "posterized" with blue/purple colors in the shadows. (Reloading the AMA files without the Lut option produces the usual flat look, which then can be graded with the Symphony feature.) Anyone sucessfully

Read the sales lit, but can't tell if the PhraseFind software will search in AMA folders, specifically will it search in BPAV folders conatining the .mp4 files generated by XDCAMEX cameras?
