When I am working on a series I like to have everything on one project no matter how many episodes. I've done 35-40 episodes (with 8-10 hours of shootings not more) on the same HD project (DNxHD36) with absolutely no problem. Always having the project backed up on another big HDD. MC proved worth trusty and I never forget that.

Follow that rule in any case.
-
MC can run on anything but not qualified for. Using an intel HD card to run MC isn't anyway close to that. Now if you think that the Windows 10 Cerator has done the damage you should do the rollback and keep us updated as well.

This is for 8.9.2 which I work with and is working fine. <<If you are using a Quadro series card (5000, 5000M, 4000, 4000M, 2000, or 2000M) the v385.08 driver is not supported. On a Windows 10 system, use v353.82. On a Windows 7 system, use v377.11.>>

I bought a PNY P2000 to replace my old PNY 2000D which is still working on 8.9.2 by 353.82 driver (any problem isnt Avid's but Nvidia EOL them). However it seems that this P2000 card was faulty and I sent it back after try it to my (old) PC (and at other newer two at a computer store) as it never gave any signal (of life). Waiting for a replacement

I have also reported the count number bug(?) but its a cosmetic thing.
-
Nope. Even on 365X HD projects (50fps) everything is working fine here.
-
All my clips retain their changed name on bins on 8.9.2.

Try this: iLok Legacy Installer. However, after 8.9.1 and win 10 I have never received that error anymore and now I can use the new installer.

If you will not need anything from those AMA linked clips then deleting will do no harm.
