The problem with docking bins is that if you close one, it is no longer docked when you re-open it, so actually "using" them in this state doesn't really work in my situation (since I want to close them sometimes.) I seem to have run into a bit of a hiccup. I'm using DNxHD 175X source material for this project, but I transcode to DNxHD 36 for editing (smoother playback with multiple streams), then relink back to the original higher res clips for final output.
