Virginia Quesada is an editor, producer, media artist and educator. Credits include work for PBS, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and web based programming.  Recent projects include:  "Landfill Harmonic" for theatrical release; "Lighting" for National Geographic Intl';" Scientastic" for PBS; "Ideas in Action" series for PBS.;  "Betty Ford: The Real Deal" MacNeil/Lehrer Productions for PBS; & "State of the Planet's Wildlife for PBS" hosted by Matt Damon. She is both an AVID Certified Instructor and an Adobe Certified Instructor.   Her company, Q Media, Inc. provides producing & editing support for independent productions. Q Media, Inc. supports AVID Symphony 7.0.4 with Script Sync and Phrase Find, Premiere CC and FCP7.   Q Media's main system is an Intel Mac Pro -12 Core machine -32gigs ram -with an AJA LHi card. The system dual boots to run FCP7 . We have Phrase Find and Script Sync, Sapphire Plugins, the Adobe CC, Boris CC. Also, the studio has an eclectic collection of legacy formats for transfer: Digital Betacam, DVCAM, VHS, ¾”, High8, DAT, & audio cassette. Virginia Quesada has taught AVID Media Composer for over 15 years and for several years has been teaching Adobe Premiere.  Additionally,  Virginia teaches part time at Future Media Concepts, D.C. Her media art work has been shown nationally & internationally.
