After 26 years chasing ambulances and politicians working in local broadcast newsrooms across the country I came to work for Avid Technology, Inc. in January 2005 as an instructor in the training department. My introduction to Avid as a customer was through iNEWS and Newscutter so I started training customers on these products in Newsrooms across the U.S. and internationally. iNEWS is the most popular newsroom computer system worldwide. I loved it as a producer and like sharing it with others because I think it can dramtically improve the efficiency and productivity of any newsroom. Most importantly, I think it can make make the life of a news producer less stressful.
