Senior Editor for French Television (documentary, show, real TV, Drama, commercials), I work for about 10 or 15 productions company as independent. I'm also post-production manager for special event and news show, and trainer for editor who want to learn more on Avid, or FCP editors who need to change their software. I work both on FCP AfterEffect and Avid. I think Avid is the best editing system, but I have to agree that sometime, FCP is much "modern", and Avid should take some lesson from them, especially in effect management, that's the reason I came to this forum, I really do think it's not a big deal to change some little features witch would make the difference.
