Re: Avid not detect tiff sequence!!

    Hiya.

Sure Avid can import tif sequences (upto 16bit if I recall correctly).

Is it just pulling just one tif file or is it not pulling in any? If it's pulling in one, make sure the detect image squences checkbox is checked in the import settings. Also make sure that your image sequence is sequential: image001.tif, image003.tif, image004.tif will not work if you select image001.tif as the image to load - Avid will just load image001.tif and not the rest.

If this doesn't help, let me know the steps you are taking and any error messages you are getting and I'll offer more.

    Hi,

    jeabby:
    anything for me to check

At the bottom of the import settings dialog box is a checkbox that says Autodetect Sequential Files (or something close to that).  Make sure it's checked/on.

    good luck,

    Hi

Can you post a screen shot of your import settings and what the imported clip looks like?  It might help us see where the problem is.

    good luck,
    Carl
