exception: could't find internal timecode generator template

I got this error when I fied up Avid earlier today - "exception: could't find internal timegode generator template". I haven't worked on Avid for a few months.

When I first upgraded to SL 10.2, MC 3.1.1 worked just fine.

I am running MC 3.1.1, and my current OS is Mac OS 10.6.2 - I'm going to assume that my OS is incompatible with the version of MC I am running.

Can someone confirm that this is probably the right conclusion? If this is the case, can someone tell me what the best solution would be to get Avid up and running again? My intentions are to create a back-up of all my media from my multiple drives into a 1tb RAID for archiving. If I cannot get MC to run, is there another workaround to do that outside of MC?

    Thank You in advance.

Very much so. According to the version matrix, you should be on OS 10.5.5 with Quicktime 7.5.5.

Your the man Larry! Happy New Year btw, and thank you for all your help throughout all this 2009.

I guess I'll have to downgrade my OS to 10.5 or 10.2 to consolidate my footage. Can't wait to get my hands on MC 4!

Or you can download the free trial version of MC 4, which works fully featured for 30 days.
