Want to use Boris Red 3.0.2 on Avid Media Composer 3.1.1

We recently got Avid Media Composer 3.1.1.  A co-worker installed it on his computer that had Boris Red 3.0.2 already and he is able to use Boris on Media Composer.  I got a new computer and Media Composer was installed.  I then installed Boris Red 3.0.2 and can't get the Avid to recognize.

I followed the AVX Plug in steps by moving plug ins into Avid's AVX_Plug-Ins folder, no luck.

I then put them on the Avid's Media Composer's AVX_Plug-Ins folder, no luck.

I made sure that I moved the Boris plug ins only and not the folders.

    Any suggestions?

They don't go there. They go in Library>Application Support>Avid>AVX Plugins.

Doing this from memory so please forgive me if the path isn't exactly right.

Which install option did you choose from the Red installer?

There is an AVX2 install option this is what you most likely need.
