I could use a tool/hotkey toggle that works to reduce the number of track channels seen in the mixer...interactively matching whichever tracks are active in the Timeline's Track Panel. This would act to compact the Mixer to display only the active tracks of interest. The mixer would then permit easy access to the tracks I need to adjust. For Example, Mixer channels 1 & 2 could be displayed next to channels 7, 8 and 16. It would assist making Mixer adjustments using the mouse. Could then be easier to navigate an orherwise full Mixer when editing timelines with numerous tracks. Toggle it off to show ALL Timeline tracks, the default view.

Interesting idea. Just wanted to add that something sort of similar happens with Artist Mix in Auto mode. It banks up the track you have selected (unless they are more than 7 tracks apart).

Hi Telegram,
I logged this as a feature request. No ETA though.
Thanks,
