This has been around for a bit and still happens for me in 2021.9. If I am working in the timeline and have the markers window open and I load a clip in the source window that has markers, the markers window doesn't switch to the source markers. For the past year or so (at least) I have to click on the record window then back to the source window for them to load. I'm pretty sure it didn't do this in the past.

Hi @RalphC, this ticket was closed without resolution because I couldn't figure out how to exactly reproduce it last time but I finally did now. Can we open it back up so I can send a screen recording?
Steps to reproduce:
1- Have something loaded in both source and record monitors (easier to see this bug if there are markers on both)
2- Click on source monitor
3- Open marker window USING THE MENU (even if it is already open, load it from the menu Tools/Markers)
4- Marker window is displaying markers from the record monitor even though we were in source.
This is 100% reproducible for me. Friends on 2018.12.8 mac and 2018.12.11 pc don't have the bug. I think it was introduced later than that. I'm on 2021.12 mac. Another editor on 2021.12 mac can also reproduce.
Could we re-open or make a new case # for this since I figured out how to reproduce?

I too have this bug, but on 2018.12.x.
Had hoped it was resolved in in 2020+. It's been around so long it's muscle memory for me to toggle source record whenever I want to see source markers.

Hi Chris! Any updates on this? This bug has driving me nuts for years, and is still an issue it seems in the new Ultimate 2023.
Yes why is this still an issue??? I'm on 2023.12.3 now (on a pc) and this persists! Five years what the heck!!
Simple things like this over the years are table stakes. So weird they don't get fixed.
