Alternative to Adobe Media Encoder for outputs?

My current workflow for delivery of content for youtube or social media is to output DNxHD. Then bring that into Adobe Media Encoder to export H.264 / 265. Avid's support for exporting these formats is too limited, slow, and even the quality seems not as good. But it sucks to have to subscribe to adobe every month for this.

What are others using? Are there any good encoders out there for PC? Ideally with purchase options instead of monthly.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I wasn't aware of Shutter Encoder!
