Hi all

I just saw all the wonderful modern effect templates over at FxFactory website.  Very impressive.  

It was dishearting though to see all the video templates are for FinalCut X.   Im not looking to jump ship...i have been using Avid for 20years now....but the templates have gotton so amazing and easy.   Especially like the "video wall" - that would come in handy especially in this new covid society editing multiple cell phone videos.  

So question is - Is there anything like that out there??  I know BCC and AvidFx are the goto for Avid.....but a) they are overpriced and b) i don't see the templates that easy and quick to make in comparsion.  Hoping there is a solution....? (whenever i got to this point in my career w Avid, where i might jumpship they would come out with something to keep me.... and i want to stay Avid but...... these templates are to good)   

Any suggestions for easy, quality plugins like SplitScreen Pro.  https://fxfactory.com/info/splitscreenpro/

If they can now make a template for just multiple picture and picture effects like SpilitScreen pro that would amazing. 

With covid changing everything i have clients who want to make creative video walls with at least 10 people on cell phones.  Having a template like  https://fxfactory.com/info/splitscreenpro/   FOR AVID would be a god send!  

Call me jaded and cynical, JamesVibe, but the number of times you've put a link to one particular template site as an example in your post makes me suspicious that you're subtly advertising.

yeah i know... i would have to call you cynical though.   You know that feeling when you are under the gun to produce something fast - and you see a solution - but can't make it happen.   Thats whats going on.   I'm just casting a wide net looking for a answer.   How would you create a video wall, with like 15 sources, that needs to animate as well....take forever doing PIP effects.   Unless im missing some kind of trick or plugin?  

I have done this in the past with just the 3D Warp effect. I had a bin with a bunch of pre-made 3D Warp effects renamed to Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, etc. Once it's set it up, it's just a matter of dragging them on your stacked clips on your timeline. I then collapsed clips to make it easier to manage and stepped in if I needed to edit any layer.
