i have noticed that while working on Avid MC, the performance is not satisfying eventhough my PC specs is high. 

also, when i tried to convert a video in Adobe Encoder, the task manager showing 0% in GPU use eventhough the render settings set to Mercury Playback Engine GPU (CUDA). attached screenshot.

any ideads? 

MC is not as GPU dependent as Premiere. It’s a curse and a blessing. A curse since it does not have the peak performance as Premiere in my experience. A blessing that it is much more consistent and not as vulnerable to low GPU memory issues. 

With Media Encoder I noticed you are using custom settings. Intel and Nvidia’s H.264 acceleration tends to be a bit strict. Try encoding using one of the presets instead and see if the GPU gets more involved.
