Hi all,
I'm getting ready to edit a full 4k project (my first) and have a quick question. The files I've been given show dimensions of 3840x2160. (I believe they were shot with a Panasonic camera, though not sure.)
In launching a new project in MC, I'm not given that option exactly. The closest options are 3996x2160 or 4096x2160.
My question is which setting should I use or is there some other work around to get these to match?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Look for Ultra HD or UHD in the project settings. That is 3840x2160. You won't find it under 4K, as you've discovered.
Great, thanks so much!
So importantly this won't be a 4K job its a UHD job. Its very important to differentiate!
