Most of the cameras todays as my GH5 are shooting progressive but the TV channels here (or everywhere) want 50i for both SD and HD.
I think it's better to shoot on 50p so I can deliver or encode to 50i after.
Anyone facing the same issues?
Thanks/

yeah, this works.
It works right as follow:
Shoot 50p link to a 50i project with Interpolated Field (change the adapter to if it's not).
Edit and export as DNxHD 185X (This will not be 365X because of the 50i) by QT Export (do not render anything).
MC will tell you that will not be a SAS export but a DNxHD 185 50i etc.
The file will be Top Field First because it is HD.
Then you can encode it as HD or SD to TMPGEnc with I only GOP Structure
(In case of a Mpeg2 Program Stream Delivery).
Otherwise the Avid DNxHD 185x will be more than enough.
File will be fine for air.
