Hello,
I'm currently getting the following error on long sequences in Avid 2018.4.0, working in Mac 10.11.6
In past versions of Avid I would click the playlength button and this would go away. For this version, if I click the playlength button it will let me play the sequence, but as soon as I make a change to the sequence the error pops up again. Is there a workaround to make this stop popping up in this version please?

I have seen something similar when I made a stringout of material using AutoSequence and source clips TCs stretched longer than 12 hours.
Example: First clip has TC of 09;00:00:00 and lasts for 1 sec. Last clip in sequence has TC of 20;00;00;00 and last for 1 sec. Nothing in between.
That message might come up. Avid seems to not like a sequence longer than 12 hours. My solution was to cut out the gaps. Sort of sucked, but got me where I needed to go.
Just guessing in your case.

Hi Jef,
Yes that's the same issue I'm having. I used to be able to use the playlength button to alleviate this problem but it doesn't seem to be working the same in this version of Avid.
I just started getting this error after receiving an updated sequence that I imported into a working Avid project.
I cant seem to find a fix anywhere here.
