    Auto Sync - Quick help!

    Hi guys,

    I have a quick question. Lets say I have footage for a film, and I have 100 video takes and 90 audio takes. The audio takes belong to the video takes and they have an identical TC.

    But of course I dont know which video clips need audio and which ones dont.

    So, I select video and audio, and then I hit AUTO SYNC.

    I then have 90 subclips with snyced audio. But how do I know, which video clips are non-synced?

    I can now sort them by name, and compare which ones appear twice and which ones dont. But that's really not elegant - plus: there is a risk that I miss some takes.

    The easiest way would be: collapse the clips, and then just let the video clips which DONT have an audio track be unsynced. But when I do this, the video clips are being deleted??

    Any ides? Help would be much appreciated.

    Any non-synced master clips will still be selected (highlighted) in the bin, after performing AutoSync. I usually color code them dark blue at that point, so I can easily trace them.

    Select all synced clips then

    Bin -> Select -> Media Relatives

    Bin -> Select -> Reverse
