Application Manager doesn't show MC 8.8.5 for downloading.
I only can open 8.8.4 from the Appman.
I can download from the downloadcenter though..
And I am curious if Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5 is supported? There is nothing about it in the readme file, so thats strange.
Hi there JKL....
1. 10.12.5 is still being tested. MC | First was approved as it was minimal testing with MC | First and PT | First in a coinstall. MC needs to be tested with PT, ISIS etc... I expect it will be a week or 2 more before the green light is given. I will post when it is.
2. I checked your MY Avid and you should be fine with 8.8.5. Make sure you have AppMan 17.5 and quit out of AppMan and appman helper and relaunch it.

Also, you could try the "Clear Cache Files" button in the Preferences.
That has been known to help too..
Thanks

In addition, try.
1. Quit Application Manager from its menu-bar icon at the top of the screen.
a. Go to MacHD > Applications >Utilites > and open 'Activity Monitor'.
b. In the activity monitor interface, select the Process Name ‘AvidAppManHelper’ from the column on the left-hand side, Then click the ‘X’ button at the top left to quit the process.
You should no longer have any ‘Avid Application Manager’ related processes in the ‘Process Name’ column of Activity Monitor.
2. Delete the following folders:
HD/Library/Caches/Avid/AppManager/Cache
HD/Library/Caches/Avid/AppManager/Db
HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Licenses
Thanks,
RalphC
I tired this but still don't see in "download" option in the Application Manaager, and I'm stuck on MC 8.8.4. Do the "Auto-Install" "Auto-Update" and "Download Plug-ins" under "Install Options" in the Application Manager Preferences have any bearing on this issue? Thanks!

Have done all that, without any luck. But I just downloaded 8.8.5 from the download center. It works now.
Hello All,
just to let you know, for me it is the same: nothing works to show the update MC 8.8.5 in the Application Manager...
Any more solutions?
Thanks!
Same here -- deleted all those cache folders, but 8.8.5 still doesn't show up in the App Manager

Have you tried to sync your AppMan? What version appears in the Apps section and the status?
Thanks for your replay - yes I synced the AppMan, deleted the files, did a restart on the AppManHelper and deleted the Cache...?? I also did an resart on the whole system...
...any more ideas?
