I know it's probably too much to ask that Avid will ever update the Symphony colour corrector but...
It would be great if while you're grading in Master Clip mode, when you park on a clip all the other related clips are highlighted on the timeline. So you can get a sense of how many clips will be affected by changing the grade. That would help let you decide if you want to adjust the Master Clip grade or switch to Segment Clip mode for that clip.
cheers

This is a great idea.
Do not hold your breath...
I suspect the Colour Corrector will not be updated because it works in 12 bit and between full range levels only, and clips outside this range, unlike newer versions of MediaComposer.
This sentence is from a document from Avid:
Note that internally, levels are normalized to values between 0 and 1. Black being 0 and white being 1. This normalization process makes it easy to handle media at 8, 10 12 or 16 bits. Our internal format supports normalized values from -2.0 to 2.0 so nothing gets lost when you apply color transformations. It might become out of the Legal range (0 to 1 in normalized values, 16-235 in 8 bit representation) but those values are still there.
