Make Video Mixdown more like Audio Mixdown

It would save a couple steps if a video mixdown could go to a new upper video track much like an audio mixdown goes to a new audio track.  Ins and Outs used to make the mixdown would be respected.

But, this should be an optional action.

    I like the idea.

Could (and would for me) be more flexible to have options that allow the editor to choose to create a new track or set it to edit into any existing track. (I almost always have a dedicated video mixdown track as my top video track)

I've been asking for this for years. Was disapointed when the audio mixdown got such an overhaul a while back and video mixdown is still so limited.

I'd prefer to have just a mixdown option and within that the audio and video choices. With the video offering similar options to audio.

Its not even complicated code as all the back end is already in place.

And be able to select multiple sequences for mixdown...that would be nice.

That would work for me.  Control is a good thing.
