Just upgraded to Media Composer 8.5. Now when I export a timeline it automatically creates another timeline, calling it (Name) exported. It gets messy in the bin and I'd like to turn off that feature. 

Any thoughts on how I can do that?

How are you exporting?

There is usually a "Create new sequence" checkbox in the dialogue if something like that is going to happen, so you just need to uncheck it.
