Timecode/DaVinci Resolve/Avid Media Composer straight to 24 or 24 frames in a 30 frame count

A clip timecode frame counting heads up about ingesting Tapeless sources into Avid Media Composer SD 23.976 NTSC Project.

DaVinci Resolve v11.3.1 assigns a straight to 24 frame per second count not skipping any numbers in that frame per second count for clips that are 23.976 fps/24 fps.

Avid Media Composer if in SD 23.976 fps/24 fps NTSC Project and the clips are 23.976 fps/24 fps:

Ingest selecting AMA "File Menu > Link to Media..."

By importing a clip into the Avid Media Composer if done using AMA "from "File Menu > Link to Media..." command:

Avid Media Composer assigns a straight 24 frame per second count, not skipping any numbers matching how Resolve counts timecode frames.

Ingest selecting "File Menu > Import"

By importing a clip into the Avid Media Composer, if done using the "File Menu > Import" command:

The Avid assigns a 30 frame per second count skipping timecode frame values of 2s and 7s not matching how Resolve counts timecode frames.

Tested with DaVinci Resolve v11.3.1 with Avid Symhony v8.3.1 & v8.4. Macintosh Operating System used as recommended for each version by Avid.
Each version of software should be tested to make sure you are getting the desired results.
