It worked once, now it won't.

MXF files were converted from GOPRO to MXF using Metafuze. I was succesful in dropping it into an avid media file folder and relinking, via an imported ALE, but now it does not work. I tried both ALE and drag n drop the MOB file. I watched a few tutorials on doing this and I think I am doing the right thing - but I must be missing a stepo somewhere.

I tried all the recomnded options such as

• All Drives
• Any video file
• Any Pproject 

At one point a message came up wanting to quarantine files (no virus software is running) This is a windows XP problem, but now when I create a new folder named (5) to receive the trancoded files, the file is locked and I can't access it to drag the MOB file.  This appears to be more than one issue...any suggestion as to how I can unravel this?  

 

 

Soloved - I think

 

The computer is a triple-boot system, with 3 differnt opperating systems.  The file security between XP and Win7 was conflcting...seems to be solved now
