Im new to Avid and Avid Plugin development.

Question, If I have Media Composer Demo and I want to develop a plugin for export the video composition to a custom codec What should I do ?

I see too many APIs or kind of plugins for Avid, but not a general developer forum, only custom dedicated for each of the different types of possible developments.

If I want to develop a plugin for Media Composer, What I need, where do I need to go and look for ?

Basically we want to develop a plugin that can tell to media composer to export the composition to some place (custom filename) with some custom parameters as for the video codec, then be notified when export is completed.
