Hi Avid,

This has probably been covered before but struggled to find info.

I have a few MC 6.5 licences and forgot to deactivate them before upgrading from 6.5.0.1 - 6.5.3.

How do I now deactivate them now. All the licence numbers dont work so I try to contact support to re-activate them. I'm in Australia so I have contacted support in China, Japan, Japan, Korea (number doesnt work) and all dont speak English. Why isn't there an Australia number to call. US business hours are closed. Im now waiting for London to wake.

Is there an easier way to re-set licence codes? can I do it via email?

If I remember correctly, you shouldn't have to deactivate/reactivate to go from 6.5.0.1 to 6.5.3.  What happens if you run Avid License Control on one of the systems?  While you're waiting to get in touch with support, you could run in trial mode, which is fully functional and lasts for 30 days.

No.  Avid support on the phone is the only remote way.

Send an e-mail to Marianna Montague.  She's the Avid Customer Advocate.  Include your System ID's, Serial Numbers, and registration/contact info.
