Great news, but are the specs you listed the specs of the 2011 imacs?

The bigger option for the 27" as a graphic card on the current model

is the GTX 680MX with 2 GB RAM.

They appear to be wrong on the apple page listing,

but show correct when in the apple store when trying

    to configure a new Imac.

So are these the current models we are talking about?

    -EDIT-

Ok, so this seems to be for the current Imacs, even if not all configurations

have been tested. I guess maxing out the ram, picking the highest

video card options and going for a flash hard drive shouldn´t hurt,

    it´s just not tested...

Sorry for the delay on getting back to you, but yes, the GTX 680 is also supported.

    Re: New iMacs Supported!

Hello, thank you for the information.

I have confusion on GTX 680MX graphics card. Do I need CUDA?

Some place I read say it cause problems with Squeeze. I want to use CUDA to speed up After Effects CS6.

Does anyone know if the After Effects Cuda hack will cause issues with Avid 6.5.2?

I am talking about this information I hear in video: http://vimeo.com/43420088

    Thank you

You do not need CUDA, but it doesn't hurt to have it.

In Squeeze, it does seem that when you use CUDA, the encode may go faster, but doesn't look as good.  However, even if you have CUDA installed, you can simply choose not to turn it on in Squeeze.  It doesn't force you to use it.

I don't know either way about the "After Effects CUDA hack," haven't tried it.

Will AJA t--tap with Thunderbolt work with this configuration for a client monitor?

    Thanks!
