Just tried. The same as previous beta in that thread. It's a pity.

As already said above I think you should contact Matrox support if this doesn´t work after having followed the instructions for uninstalling / installing.

They are good at things like this and will surely get you up and running.

As I understand for you it's a excellent driver. No lags on scrubbing, quick floating trimming (the same as without Matrox), quick responsibility in color correction...

I think David summarized it rather good earlier, I am getting even better results not seeing the hangs as he describes

So, again, to repeat myself once more in this thread, as you are seeing this

    gorky:

Just tried and for me it's still awfull.  ....  on desktop there are dropped fames every sec. As I understand there is a incompatibility between 25 fps and 60 Hz of Macbook display.

......... Blackmagic Intesity Pro, for example, is free of that bug.

.........  Just buyed Aja Io express because can't wait for ideal drivers...

it is about time for that Matrox support call now

Currently running 6.0.3.2.  Wondering if I should bump up to 6.5.2 now that this driver has finally been released.  Everyone pleased with performance on 6.5.2?  Same as 6.0.3.2?

About 10 % better response between the app and the interface I think.

Also some new stuff in 6,5,2 that you might like.

    Re: Mac Matrox driver 6.52

I had high hopes for this driver, having never had any stability with the Matrox Mini and MC 6.0. So updated to OS 10.7.5, moved up to MC 6.5.2 and installed this new driver. And it works... plays in sync on the client monitor, no audio delay on the timelime if you return to editing after a pause, no problems capturing if you toggle the Matrix off, (ie toggle off/on works and doesn't throw up errors).

Well almost. Close expection of the viewers on the computer screens seem to show a slight jerkyness with motion. It's almost as if it were dropping frames. Client monitor at the same time smooth playback. If i turn the Matrox off, (toggle off), the computer viewers play smoothly.

So what's the problem, you shout, you want to monitor on the client monitor, that's the whole point of having the Matrox box. Well yes but an editing lab set up for multiple student groups to whom I have to explain why this set up is performing this way is a pain. I want my cake and to be able to eat it and why not? Surely the computer playback should be smooth.

I'm disappointed we got this close and still didn't quite pull it off, maybe next driver. I see a lot of toggling off ahead.

For me the 067 driver is not as good as the 061 beta... more frames dropping on the desktop monitor, client monitor is OK. Also more laggy in trim with cap lock on than with the beta.

What OS David, might be interesting, I think focus is on 10,8,2 , Hansa seems to still be on Lion , how about you .

Would be interesting with a side by side test 107.5 / 10.8.2 if anyone have those resources.

    Re: Mac Matrox driver 6.52

It would be nice to know if someone is getting smooth platback on the computer monitor viewers with OS 10.8.2 before I update to 10.8.2. With the hassle of not being able to get back to 10.7.5 and possibly losing DVD Studio Pro by moving up I'm hesistant.

    Re: Mac Matrox driver 6.52

Actually it says "Now also supports Avid Media Composer and Symphony 6.0.3.2."  I'm on 6.0.3 -- should I upgrade to 6.0.3.2 or I now see that 6.0.3.3 is available ("fixes 100 bugs!").   Will 6.0.3.3 work with matrox 3.3.0.0067 driver on mx02 mini?  Right now running 3.0.2.0002 with 6.0.3 and getting trim errors.

It works, sort of but still very sluggish, although best so far with version 6 MC. Computer monitor playback is terrible (dropped frames) but the video out is OK

    Re: Mac Matrox driver 6.52

My question was: I'm on 6.0.3 -- for this 0067 driver, do I patch to 6.0.3.2 or 6.0.3.3?
