I'll schedule a final date for 2011 around Christmas sometime.
Despite nearly 30 folks contacting me to indicate they would like to attend the last meeting we managed a grand total of 6!
I'm happy to schedule the next 2 meeting and will see if a real meeting of like minded folks is really as desired as indicated. It's quite possible, and the relationship between desire to meet and actually attending seems to support, that online forums like this one and email lists offer all the contact folks need.

Hi Pat
Sorry i didnt make it, the Indian Summer temp of 28C, with no air con on the trains to Waterloo made staying at home too attractive.
Can I sugest that we set the date for each meeting to be the first Wednesday or Thursday in the Month, this worked very well for the origenal Londun UG as it was predictable.
Also an indication of topics to be covered announced well ahead would be useful.
Bump!
Tomorrow folks.
User group event was good - will there be one in December?
Joe
Will there be a London User Group meeting ever again??
Well VET Post Production is no more (sold to Molinare) The operation and staff stil exists but I can't imagine a user group meeting happening there again.
From my experince of runnig a few its too much effort for the interest it seems to generate that doesn't appear on the night.
I suspect its easier for folks to browse the forums online that actually meet in person.
But happy to be proved wrong..
Thanks for the reply Pat.
Too bad it wasn't successful enough. I'd be interested in such thing a thing.
