Hello everyone,
To better understand your needs with MC5, I would like to do a quick poll on which O/S you are running and if it's 32 or 64 bit?
Those of you who will upgrade soon to MC5, which O/S will you be using?
This will help us moving forward to maintain your desired support from the Matrox/Avid patnership.
Thank you all in advance for taking the time to repspond.
Regards
W@
Anyone wants serious performance with MC5 have to run it on W764 with 8G of ram or more.

I have MC5 on Vista 64 and W7 64 at present. The Vista will move to W7 64 over the next few months.
Vista 64 here, but most of the places I work at are either XP or OSX 10.4/10.5, and I guess they'll have to move to 10.6 if they want to upgrade to MC 5. Talking of performance, and looking at the future, a 32 bit OS is nonsense.

Win7 Ultimate 64-bit
Upgraded from Liquid 7 to MC4. Now upgraded to MC5 running under Windows 7 x64. In fact I never installed MC4. I waited till MC to have installed under Win 7. Fresh installed OS and all apps. So far so good.
To be or not to be.
