seems to work without problem...
the time you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted time...

Good morning,at least here morning coffee and Avidnews. How long did you record?
My 128GB ScanDisk Extreme for 95mb / s SDXC1, recorded about 20s: 4k 25p ALL-I 400mbps. Then the recording stops, but the recording is saved.FHD 200mbps is all right.
V.
20'22" and it stopped, because that's it on a 64gb card. then i tried again with a lot of movement and it filled the card once again. pretty happy about that. i just ordered a couple of 128gb.
It seems that Lexar 1000x which is a relatively cheap card works with 400M Intra.
I use Kingstons 64gb which are even cheaper and fine for everything except this one which they write for 18-20 secs.

Off Topic cont.
GH5 Firmware 2.1.
The only files from GH5 that are not supported in MC are from the new MP4 HEVC recording format.
George Angeludis: Off Topic cont. GH5 Firmware 2.1.
Hello George,
I noticed with the new GH5 firmware (2.0 and 2.1) that even when I have autofocus turned on, switching to some recording types (all 8 bits - except UHD 50p) will deactivate autofocus. It's the same on your GH5?
I raised the question on the Panasonic, but so far no response.
RegardsVilém
I never use autofocus.
But I will check it for you.
You mean continous focus?
Thank you.
It does not matter if AFS / AFF or AFC. Disables AF menu.
It's a thing I noticed during the tests, but it's not written anywhere.
Mostly I do not have AF, but I need to know exactly how GH5 behaves.
Hi George,You do not have to search AFF anymore. My problem with setting GH5. On 8-bit codecs, a VFR setting was set in which AF is disabled. I have not noticed that the VFR option remains on even after transferring the recording format.
Thanks
P.S.: Link to forum where it is discussed.
Again I mainly use 10bit codecs (what do I need an 8bit except in the case of 4K 50p/?).
VFR remains on if the codec match the VFR settings. Meaning that the setting allows for VFR.
I have set what I need at C1(photo) C2(Timelapse) and C3 1,2,3(VFR 180,150,100).
And at the Creative Video (M) I have the main shooting settings which are FHD 50p 200 (All-I) 10bit.
A possible bug:
"Fit To Fill doesn't send the newly created clip at the selected bin during the timewarp export"
8.9.3.
The most power green screen is inside MC and it is of course Spectramatte.
Even the toughest keys can be pulled.
However the scalling option at 8.9.4. is not working right.
Ticking the fixed aspect doesn't work as it should.
It's not well documented or a humble move from Avid's part.
With Media Composer subscription you get (untill MC has it's own 4K titler) NewBlueFX Titler 5.0!
This is huge even if someone doesn't like too much NewBlue FX Titler.
Excellent move Avid.
